What is the Karns Oral History Project?

The Karns Oral History Project is a grassroots effort to collect histories from members of the Karns community. It is run by a group of dedicated students in the journalism class at Karns High School. These students are in charge of every aspect of the project including researching, contacting potential storytellers, collecting and recording histories, and transcribing and archiving them.

This blog consists of articles written by students using the histories as a guide. It is our goal to “give new life to history through the meeting of generations.”
